Sunny was one of the best dancers in SNSD - she had good lines, good tone, showed lots of emotion, lots of controlled, deliberate movement but showed musicality. There was no awkwardness at all. A lot of dancing within SNSD is very mechanical - they repeat the movements but not dance the movements. This can be said of a lot of K-pop. Sunny actually danced and put her own personality into her dancing. I think many people think K-Pop dancing is great but it really looks very awkward and robotic. It's rare to get some good dancing out of K-pop (Super Junior is an example to the exception).

@@besticalAL I've competed in Ballroom dancing (waltz, quickstep, foxtrot, cha cha cha, rumba etc where I have had to exhibit musicality by dancing through the music and not with the beat music and won my grade at a national Australian level, and placed and won at local competitions) and I've also studied music from theory and practical (flute and piano) perspectives.

Her eyes aren't really matching her performance. Her performance says she is happy and having fun, but when the camera is supposed to be on someone else, she kinda looks sad or in some sort of pain. She isn't crying, but her eyes are "watering" for sure.

Crocoroar That's because she's in pain... her knees she had water over them for years and it got worst because of her busy schedules with the group not to mention performing in heels all those years. She had to do surgery prior to this comeback. She's very professional & didn't want to disappoint her girls or fans so she came back with her group & did her absolute best to give nothing short of 100% in all their performance. Yes, she wasn't hopping around like back in the days but she's there doing her thing also she didn't miss a single beat.

Yep she has knee problems for a long time but it got worst over the years because of her busy & demanding schedule. But she's not letting this stop her from doing what she loves and that's entertaining and blessing us with a beautiful smile and cute persona.
