I remember my first visit to the Best Kebab Shop. While standing in the queue I heard a female voice crying out "leave it Michael, they're not worth it", and a male voice answering "It's OK Britney, they're posh buggers from Leeds and there's only four of them".

Not sure about a chippy. I have no memories of ever seeing a town-centre chippy in a place where there were not many houses. So there are no plans for one on Station Road at the moment.

As always Michael, pure magnificence!!! I am continually amazed at how you not only design very authentic-looking structures using inexpensive materials that are inspiring to me because I am working on similar type projects....except I was brainwashed into buying expensive hobby items! Just brilliant. Your productivity also puts me to shame (and you make videos on top of that!). I hope you have invested heavily in these properties way back in 1993 at the bottom of the market. Property values have skyrocketed since then!

Great article in Railway Modeller. The scale drawings are helping me use InKscape for the first time although I can't use it on my LMS layout dated 31st December 1947 so might build a small model of a run down town in Yorkshire in 1983 just to put my copies of your projects on.

Hello Michael, unfortunately I only came across your channel three weeks ago. It's really great what you produce in N scale. I think I would never have thought of using Inkscape for this. But it works absolutely great. As I build in European N scale (1:160) it's still a bit smaller but it still works, as I realised after the first small building. I'm looking forward to the next videos. Best regards from the north of Germany Hans

Michael Brilliant another Late Night Food Shop, last stop before catching a train out of Chandwell. Yes I think you’ve got the correct look. Guessing getting ready to open at 12 noon. The Corner Shop Front will be something slightly different to what you’ve already modelled. The Railway Modeller article is great, another modelling friend 3mm Modern British featured this month in Model Rail. I go months without buying a magazine then get 2 in the same month. Ian

@@Chandwell Sorry Michael to confuse you. I am still fully commited to supporting Chandwell. When listening to the run down street in a run down town I thought that the street itself is running down (declining) too. Nothing negative intended with that. With regards to the scale drawings I only envy the readers of Railway Modeller to get hold of those. I was always keen on copying one of your buildings as a reference into my layout. I simply knocked my head for not paying attention to other supply channels and now missing out on it. Obviously my twinkle pulled the wrong triggers. Didn't mean to worsen your sunday morning. Sorry! With regards to your announcement I had the association that you "surprise" coincides with easter where you are looking out to find sweet things. So for everybody out there: I still chant well about Chandwell!!

"ls very, very small." Just be glad you are not modelling in Z or T Scales. You would definitely be using magnifiers. Although those scales offer possibilities that simply don't exist for larger scales. Railroading in the mountains where the mountains do look impressive rather than just hills.
