Unfortunately, I haven't tried the Govee sync box, but if you compare the boxes features one to one it might help. I need to look into actually as I'm curious to know what the AI feature is about.

So these light sync boxes .. I need my streaming device plugged in and should be alright, any app works?

Yeah that's correct, as long as the HDMI signal from the streaming device is directly plugged into the box the lights will sync.

I have this box but on my Xbox when I play films the lights not changing so God knows feel like something wrong somewhere

I have their previous model.the all black one, I am wondering if theres noticable improvement, the video seemed like maybe more fluid motion but idk

I haven't really used their previous model but I can say that you can tell the difference between RGB and RGBA is WAY brighter and as you said is much smoother too.

I have a pc and ps5 and they both have different picture settings. Hows the tv going to auto change the picture settings when only using one hdmi port?

How does the switch between different HDMI inputs happen? Is that the same as for TV and you don’t need to do it in the app or on the box? (for example, if I have Apple TV and PS5 hooked up, I can switch between these inputs when pressing the Apple TV remote or PS5 controller)

Hey Janis It depends on the TV, but at least on ours it has dynamic HDMI switching so as soon as the TV gets the signal from the Fancyleds HDMI box it will switch accordingly. If you yours has the same, it should work flawlessly like ours.

What if you are watching apps that are built into the TV?

I haven't test that actually, good question! It might not work as it will not go through the HDMI box.
