I love that you seem to LOVE to nurture her by making her food, cleaning her room, packing her bag, getting her gifts when you can. You have so much love for her. My mom was a single mom too but i was very much making my own breakfast and dinners and not really paid attention to and when she did do anything nice for us, she would remind us constantly. You're not just doing the bare minimum, you are actually nurturing and showing acts of love to her.

@@Kenzi24 I feel you. My dad is a narc and my mom has BPD with major narc tendencies. I was only 7 the first time I told them they shouldn’t have had a kid. I was their only child, so I was referring to myself. It was hell growing up with such self-centered, emotionally immature, manipulative, and invalidating parents. I read your comment and I saw myself in it, even down to the yearning to be nurtured. Just wanted to let you know that someone out there sees you, your experiences are real, and your feelings are beyond valid.

Omg it makes me so sad to hear her say “ I’m chunky “ 😩 . I can’t even imagine how hard it is being a kid growing up in this generation of technology and social media. I am 35, so when I was little there was no social media. Thank god for that. A lot of these celeb/influencer people do not look like their pics, IRL. Or they’re paying lots of money to get surgeries. For instance - Kim kardashians body type is not natural . (I’m not hating on her body type, I’m simply saying - she doesn’t naturally look like that , because it quite literally defies the laws of human anatomy. This comment isn’t to bash people who have gotten surgery/cosmetic enhancements, it’s simply to remind you not to compare yourself to them, because THEY don’t even look that truly. Also- remind yourself that most people on social media are only posting the highlights of their life; they aren’t posting the bad sides. When you see people who seem to have these fabulous, amazing glamorous lives with so much money and a million friends, a lot of times it isn’t real. Bc social media allows people to present a version of themselves that isn’t realistic. Pls pls pls try to remind yourself of this constantly, and to not try to compare urself to them. Everyone, even the people with the most seemingly fabulous lives, has secret struggles that they aren’t showing the world! And try to follow people who are willing to show their authentic real selves , including their downside. You’re already doing a great job by following abbey! Yes abbey shows fun/cool things in her life, but she also makes sure to share her struggles with everyone. I can already tell that you are smart enough to see thru some of the fake bullshit online 🩷🩷🩷 wishing you the best of luck and much happiness in life. So on January 21 this year my aunt passed away she was 30 years old . She died for overdose of drugs none of new she was doing drugs that could have killed her .Her parents were trying to help her. But she still couldn’t stop .none of us never figured out why she was depressed . Her parents are amazing they tryed to help so much had multiple long phone calls . None of us new she was this bad of drugs . The worst part was she had a one year old son which now her parents my gradparebts have full custody of . I can’t even image getting your door knocked on at 4:00 in the morning telling them that their daughter had passed away i can’t even imagen how they felt . the father is now in california in rehab because he was also doing drugs and was abusive toward my aunt and couldn’t take care of the baby . I was struggling so much after that happened it was the worst day of my life that was the first family member that i had lost . I am so proud of my grandparents her dad they are so strong through this process being troopers and taking the son.Going to her funeral and seeing her in the casket ⚰️ as the dead her was heartbreaking i am still healing today i am so glad l i found your channel . That is a big reason i follow you because you remind me so much of her and a inspiration to me and teach me never to drugs
