Interesting shave. I can use Palmolive (though I just have in stick form) just fine, but it dries my skin out. I very much prefer artisan soaps for their nourishing qualities and more interesting scents.

It's not so much the soap that dries my skin it's more the towel I use.....sorry. The Palmolive is still better than the Williams Mug soap, right? Good comparison.

A nice comparison! I find for me, and only for me as we are all different… that my skin feels slightly dry after using a “commercial “ product, and my skin feels more moisturized after using an artisan soap. Slickness… well, that depends on the commercial product.. some are slicker than others. Have a great rest of the week Johan!
