Yes Roots is a high quality Canadian outdoor brand. Their entire Winter Olympic team was outfitted in Roots in a recent Olympics. Cute stuff! Be sure to check Goodwill half price tags, if you have a Goodwill Outlet near you, or Volunteers of America stores by you.

It looks like they are activewear too... I think they started as outerwear.

Great haul, just my style and thrifted! I'm a mom to 8 so I feel like I create and shop for wardrobes for a living. I love to thrift and then fill in what I can't find with new items. My thrift shops in my little town are so cheap , I pay about .50 for an item and I always find great things , probably my favorites over the years are j. Crew or mini Boden items. Thanks for sharing

I never knew roots was expensive but i do know its high quality. We find them pretty frequently because we live near the border and almost any time i see it its really nice. Their sweatshirts are so sturdy! Its actually usually cheaper in our thrift stores so i thought it was a cheaper brand

I love thrifting but some stores have better options than others. A lot of people i know thrift because they dont want to pay more than $x for a certain item. For my kids, i like to thrift high quality items that will last beyond one kid. A tee shirt might be $2 to thrift over $5 new but a nice $5 thrifted blouse will last longer. Thats what i gravitate towards

I have been getting lots of art glass and pottery to decorate my home with. I do like to find nice gently used clothes as well.

OMG I love everything you bought for your daughter and I am watching though I am single with no kids🤣🤣but smart idea to thrift kids’ clothes as they outgrow their clothing fast! I have a niece and nephew so I understand!😊

Kids clothes are my weakness...especially girl ones! SO CUTE!! I have loved shopping second hand because it saves tons of money and I can get brands I couldn't otherwise afford!

Roots is a “designer” athleisure brand (pretty expensive, think $80 sweatpants and sweatshirts) in Canada. It’s on par with brands like Lululemon or Adidas as far as prestige.

Try the oxy clean max gel stick, leave it on overnight and wash and that stain will come out! I’ve gotten koolaide stains and baby oil stains out with it when nothing else would work!

Try using a mixture of Dawn dish soap (blue) and baking sofa as a stain remover, mix into a paste and apply and let sit for 20 minutes or longer. You can add hydrogen peroxide to the paste, but spot test first in a inconspicuous spot. Both are the best stain remover ever, inexpensive and will even take out old stains in clothes that have been washed and dried.

Unfortunately since that product doesn’t have alcohol in it, the CDC doesn’t recommend it for protection against Covid-19. I personally wouldn’t use it!

I don't like alcohol based sanitizers...this one has been working GREAT for us (we've been using it for over a month!) I also love that because it's a spray, you can literally spray down ANYTHING!!
