I was in several background scenes in this movie and I want to say that each of these actors were very professional and fun to work with. And especially Anthony, as we were in one of the airport scenes and he walked over to me and introduced himself before the shoot. What a gentleman. This movie is going to be a hit!!

As a real life storm chaser myself, this movie was incredibly accurate in a lot of ways, the science in particular was very accurate! Thanks Glen, Daisy, Brandon, and Anthony for bringing my passion to life onscreen!! I have a similar experience with storms, I actually am terrified but also extremely interested in them, having that juxtaposition of both being scared and drawn to them shown on screen was extremely validating to me!!
@StormChaserMaci.6 ай бұрын
Not entirely..... couple things really stick out that aren't accurate. -Trained NWS spotter.
@SamRK-10006 ай бұрын
There are things that aren’t accurate, I think Reed Timmer specifically mentioned the “twin tornadoes” that they were actually multiple vortices from the same parent tornado (so not individual “twins”), and also the “twins” in the movie are spinning different directions which isn’t possible IRL. As a storm enthusiast (all storms, not just nader’s) I really enjoyed it, more-so because I’m not a technical enthusiast so all the jargon went over my head. Even though Timmer has been chasing for like, ever, he said that it was a great movie and other storm fans like Jake Swegle of Swegle Studios also gave it the green light. I think the stormchasing community has been pleasantly rewarded with this film, ofc there’s some unrealism because it’s a summer blockbuster, it’s gonna be “fake” in some areas to make it more sensational and interesting. Both films are awesome-I PERSONALLY like Twisters more. Just got a VHS of Twister too!

It’s an awesome film. Loving all these interviews and stuff, I feel that this film will become a classic later on. Even non-storm and non-tornado enthusiasts are going to see this film which is awesome, it’s the same kind of crowd Twister attracted. Twister and Stormchasers really exposed this “bugs under a rock” community to the general public and now with Reed Timmer and Team Dominator on KZbin and this film, too, I hope there’s even more in the younger and older generations that discover weather and begin to understand why us enthusiasts-not just chasers-care and are fascinated by weather so much. Just a great film, don’t miss out on seeing it in XD!!!

"How is 'Twisters' related to 'Twister" and how does it raise the stakes? Glen puts it in the best way in his point of view overall, and even though nobody is related in this film from the original, I honestly thing that its raised the stakes many, many years later that Daisy Edgar Jones' character, who we see is as a enthusiastic weather lover/scientist that came across the research and tests that was done back in '96, and asked herself, "Okay, we have this test and this data, what can I do with it? What can I do with the knowledge I have and make a difference now in this time, almost thirty years later?" And honestly, with climate change affecting the weather patterns, higher populations in the US that can be affected by tornadoes and hurricanes in general, this whole plot line can become inspiration to new generations of meteorologists to follow down the same path. As a kid, I was amazed by the original film, but now that I've seen this movie, it really does bring a lot of opportunities in the future. Sometimes, science fiction can be a science reality/fact if you have the guts and the desire to change the world and save lives.
