Something to note: the other kids hanging out in the weird pocket dimension were children in Ron’s situation (abusive parent/parents) and most likely met a similar fate as him. There’s an end scene where they’re all sitting together which is so telling; Ron is sitting in a closet, a little boy is sitting in a campfire, a little girl in a hole, and a small boy (maybe a toddler, I’m just saying because he’s much smaller than the others) hanging out the trunk of a car They were all killed by their parents, now they’re sitting in the places their bodies were hidden
