In the orhpanage he went through extreme abvse from nailing nails through the foot to watervoarding, hitting, chaining up, starvation- basically everything. He also was experimented on by this crazy dude that tried to take his ability. Now as consequence of this abvse Atsushi has hallucinations and is extremely insecure and doubts himself at times. Oh, and spoiler warning: But rn jn the recent chapters Atsushi is in the middle of a war and all his friends have been decapitated in front of him because of Fyodor Dostoevsky and Amenogozen.

4:44 in regards to the top text. Honestly it makes sense that Luffy acted like that. They don't have TV. Yes there are snails, but not TV. And from what I've seen, video snails aren't used as often like TVs. I've only seen them used by corporations or governments and such to broadcast info. No citizens really have video snails. Let alone for entertainment. So how Luffy acted is perfect to me.
