I think you messed up on Luke Skywalker's personality. He never hated his father (Basing this assumption on what Luke said at 3:29). He disagreed with his actions, but he always believed there was good in his father. He even states to Darth Vader (his father) that he believes theres good in him, and even when Darth Vader denies it, Luke just simply states, "Then my father is truly gone". He didn't have any angry towards his father choice. Infact, it sounded like he accepted his choice and also didn't believe him. Just saying, if you want to keep the personalities canon. Its your choice.
