> Holy crap I didn’t know I had to mention this but I will never do fights. I will never make the characters talk about abilities and all that bs. I’m sorry but not only is that boring as hell (especially for a reaction video) but also very insufferable to write. I hate anything related to fights or whatever, it’s not that I don’t like shounen but what I dislike is fights that have no meaning. Take dabi’s last fight with Shoto. It’s a fight I very much enjoyed and it’s not because of some crap about dabi’s or shoto’s quirk, it was because it centered around their characters and relationship. Like I said I hate meaningless fighting and meaningless conversations about abilities, that’s also the reason I hate meta in gachas and how I still don’t know what crit dmg and crit rate are. And to the people who whine and whine and whined that I had to delete all your shitty comments about how ‘There’s no fights so mid’ ‘No fights?’ ‘Where are the fights?’ All I have to say to that is I don't care. If you want to see fights go somewhere else because my videos are about characters, their lore and relationship with others not some lame ass fighting no one gives a care about. (This statement was about Kokushibo’s part where there were like 20 comments telling me to make a part 2 of Kokushibo because they wanted fights. Like go make your own if you’re so busy complaining.) > After making total of 4 fandoms react I have realized now that people will complain no matter what. I make a 30 minute video about Yoshida because there are no Yoshida reaction videos. ‘Erm… Where is denji? Why is it only about Yoshida?’ I don’t know why Daniel you tell me? Is it not because it’s centered around Yoshida Hirofumi? And not Denji? Like go watch shit about Denji why are you here? I make a 24 minute video about Angel and not just him with Aki but I also addressed Angel’s past lover(which no one ever does apparently). ‘This video is only about Akiangel so it’s trash.’ Like did you not watch and read the dialogue? I make 30 minute video about Kokushibo. About his character depth his relationship with Yoriichi and not just about his fighting and breathing but about his character. ‘ERRMMM GLOOMY WHERE ARE THE FIGHTS????’ No Emily shut up, no one cares about fights when it comes to reaction videos. The whole reason I watch and make reaction videos is so I can make it about their characters and their depth. I’d rather be taken by a UFO than ever write a script about shallow written characters. > I would also like to make something clear. I’m not talking about the people that give me constructive criticism and it seems like I have to explain the differences between that and outright criticism. When you say ‘Add more videos of this’ or ‘Remove that character or ship’ that is in fact not constructive criticism, that's just you whining because of a certain topic I added. What I take as valid criticism is when you talk about my script. About how there’s too much of that or too little of this. For example in my first video of Yoshida a lot of people said the script wasn’t too good because they were arguing too much. If you take a look at my first community post and Angel’s video you can see that I am in fact acknowledging my mistakes. While they still argue (Because obviously they are far from friends) I still try to make them act serious in certain situations or lighthearted in others. And also the fact that I add too many videos but to be honest that’s only because I don’t want them to become from happy to sad in one video because obviously, it’s not realistic. That’s why I want a build so it could become from happy to sad slowly without making it look like the characters have more intense mood swings than I do when I’m on my period. > Last time I got multiple complaints of people not being happy with how much dialogue there is and to be honest. I can’t believe people would rather watch characters look at a screen and do nothing than actually communicate like actual people do. > I’m also going to remove Kokushibo and add Yoshida again because he literally does not do anything. > Today I also mark the day I finished Persona 5 for the 5th time… With a mod where it allowed me to romance Akechi. I made Akira and Akechi date. I’m the savior. > Also this video was released one day later than usual due to the fact that I was exhausted on the 29th.

I agree with everything you said but degreading people who like fights. I understand you are annoyed for the actions of some people, who do nothing but complain, but by calling fights "lame ass fighting no one gives a care about" you are insulting a very large part of people taste. "fights" in shonen are often the climax of the narrative arch and without them an arch would feel boring. Nevertheless i completly loved this video and sorry for the vent.

I agree with you. It’s not about the fights themselves or how strong they are, but rather the meaning behind them. What’s good about Kokushibos fight is the character development at the end of it. Fights for the sake of fighting with no real change or growth are not fun.

I can't believe people complain about dialogue??? That's the reason I love your videos so much! And for the fights, they're less interesting than everything else anyway, so what's the point? It only looks cool, it doesn't add much to the video. Even though I don't know anything about this particular fandom, I watched the whole thing anyway because you make brilliant videos that don't really require you to know the source material. AKECHI HOW I LOVE YOU SO MUCH tbh i was kinda hoping for more third semester videos but i understand why not, considering akechi is timeline wise at a point where he hasn't met sumi yet or is from the vanilla timeline. it also makes sense character wise since third semester builds on his character even more since he's at a point where he doesn't really care about putting up the detective prince mask anymore but still puts on a mask to keep us from seeing his true personality. everyone else already has some type of assumption about his true personality and he's definitely the type of person to keep it that way. he'd want them to see him as the mentally unstable person they think he is, even if he denies it. he doesn't want them to see that he cares about others (see his voicelines for when violet gets status effects and his want to stop maruki from making the world into a perfect reality), he doesn't want them to see how tired he is, and he definitely doesn't want them to see just how much his life has been affected by being yaldy's pawn. i also like that you go don’t into depth that much with personas, akechi definitely wouldn't like them knowing that he still holds on to childish ideals of justice at that very moment since robin hood is one of his personas. i liked this a lot!

This was so amazing, honestly as much as the metaverse is interesting. I believe it was a good route to mostly ignore the fights and powers because I love how well you took the time to show the complexities of Akechi's character.
