The Archons were not the ones to destoy Khaenri'ah as far as we know in lore - there are multiple gods that co-exist alongside the Archons and many of the Archons were dealing w the issues the Cataclysm brought to their nation - Venti was dealing w Durin and the aftermath of many of Favonius Knights dying due to the monsters that invaded - he was asleep prior and eventually went back to sleep after - Greater Lord was klled dealing w the abyssal monsters - Same w Egaria - Makoto went to help Khaenri'ah but died and Ei came for her after the destruction was over - Mavuika was dealing w the abyssal monsters heavily die to Natlan being vulnerable on teyvats key lines - Zhongli himself did not deal w the abyssal monsters from the chasm and we don't know what contract he made w Celestia so he's questionable - and we know nothing abt Tsaritsa and the Cataclysm event in Snezhnaya
