Bowser didn't swear vengeance against the player he swore vengeance against Mario. It was link who defeated Gannon canonically not the player. And likewise the player is not a Canon character in undertale. People think that just because there's some fourth wall breaks in the game means that the player the Canon part of the story but that is not true. Deltarune may have a "canon" "player" but even then it's technically not us the real player it's a in universe player equivalent.

Chara is clearly an intelligent individual, I mean, hell, they came up with an idea to commit suicide, have their brother absorb their soul, and use his body to attempt to kill humans. I genuinely doubt that someone like that would be so easily swayed by the actions of another… and even then, that causation doesn’t make the tainting of morals correct in that situation. If someone watches their family get killed, and becomes “inspired” by that to go out and kill others to become stronger, they are by no means in the right.

In truth, people just hate that a game can tell them what they’ve done wrong so they blamed it on Chara - the only character within the game who confronts the Player directly.

Four: Frisk is in no way shape or form implied to be controlled at all, the only hint of this is when flowey broke the 4th wall. Five: Frisk shows plenty of emotion, except for the genocide route so that whole blank slate theory is false, there's no PLAYER in the game at all. So while no, the player may not have done anything, chara is a helper of frisk and are partly to blame for the massive GENOCIDE on all of monsterkind.

@@kayoja6890 yea but i feel like having chara there, they don't realize that the monsters weren't (mostly) the bad guys or at least a clip of when papyrus dies to show they weren't bad, still a great video thou😊
