@Zel-0222 ok so, lets start from the beginning. So yuu and miks originate from thousands of years ago back when the first vampire existed. The first vampire, shikima, had a child named Mikaela. Shikimas goal was to make him and the other angels ascend to heaven. Mikas existence was forbidden so in oreder for them to succeed then shikima would have to get rid of Mika. Obviously he couldn't do that bc hed gotten attached so one of the other angels decides to try to do the job themselves. Obviously they loose to Mika but mika finds out that he's hurting his father by existing so he kills himself. Shikima, obviously devestated, tries to revive Mika and ascend but that activates gods punishments and turns all the angels to vampires. They also subject them to be burned for eternity. Eventually the fire for shikima wears out and he goes back to trying to revive angel Mika. Lets back track a little. Mika always had an eyeball following him. He named it yuu and they were best friends. Back to the present, shikama finds yuu and summons a couple children from the eye. Those children are "yuu" or the creation. One of the yuus is able to communicate with mikas corpse when shikima isn't looking. While they chat. Mikas corpse decides that he wants to try to save everyone so he and yuu swap bodies. So now, yuu was Mikas corpse while Mika was yuu, or the eyeball. The reason Mika and yuu are struggling is bc they dont know whose who. What if they sacrifice mika and yuu gets taken instead. They don't want to risk it so they have been investigating. Okay so its pretty brief but hope it helps. If you also need more lore on their current selves let me know!!☺
