Fun Fact: Rewrite is probably the closest thing to “God” out of most EXES Most EXEs call themselves God, but don’t actually consider themselves Gods, they actually do it to make fun of Religion, because literally EVERYTHING about EXES kinda contradicts religion (They’re made out of Anti matter and can bend reality) But Rewrite is different because he’s LITERALLY the digital manifestation of God himself, like straight up. He isnt ACTUALLY god, but he is the digital version, he was created by a corrupt Priest who tried using him to scam gullible religious people, mainly elderly. And he killed the Priest, so when he says “I am God” it’s much more… literal than other EXEs

It’s like another character you’ve had them react to on the channel from the song “Rumor”, named appropriately “IAMGOD” which is literally god, not even “digital version of god” but it is literally God, like.. from the Bible- Rewrite is sorta like that, but he’s NOT actually god, he just thinks he is, He’s sorta the polar opposite of the exe from Perdition, Satanos. Who is the digital manifestation of Satan, Rewrite is the digital manifestation of God. Exe lore is confusing.

He was created by a sinful priest, looking to scam the elderly and desperate, advertised as a “way to speak to Jesus personally”, Rewrite did NOT appreciate this evil plan by the Priest, and killed him. He then became an EXE and does EXE stuff, probably because he has no purpose.
