MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS Panel - LA Comic Con 2021

Power Ranger actors David Yost and Jason David Frank gave a panel at LA Comic Con 2021 to discuss this still popular superhero show, their careers, projects and to answer fan questions.
David Yost is Billy Cranston / The Blue Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the movie and Power Rangers Zeo. He is also developing a project as a reunion for the original Power Ranger actors called Power Rangers Quantum Continuum.
Jason David Frank played Tommy Oliver / The White Ranger / The Green Ranger / The Red Zeo Ranger / The Red Turbo Ranger / Black DinoThunder Ranger / Lord Drakkon in many different Power Rangers series. His new film, Legend of the White Dragon, is currently in production.

@@NicholasPeters1 Yeah I think JDF and ASJ buried any hatchets they've had in the past and the majority of the MMPR cast do the convention circuit. Also, many former actors did that Expendables-style movie a while ago.

I think having Justin from Turbo as an adult, at the forefront raising his son or daughter would be a great way to base the series. Justin’s kid discovers Storm Blaster(Justin’s Blue Jeep), and with it, the blue Turbo morpher, Which of course leads to the other characters of the Zordon Era coming into play.

Man I'd love to see this project come together. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is the OG golden standard of Rangers. We definitely need a 30th Anniversary special featuring Tommy, Kimberly, Trini, Billy, Zach, Jason, Adam, Rocky, Aisha and Kat with Zordon and Alpha 5

Obviously the sixth ranger is always gonna be the favorite for everyone on earth but before Tommy came around Blue Ranger was my shit which I’m sure I’m in the minority since everyone seemed to like Red Ranger the most. I don’t know why but blue was always my favorite ranger until Green and White came around with his badass power shield which is unbeatable lol

Does anyone else wish that David got to be Zeo Gold even though it was cool getting Jason back? The way the show hyped Billy up to finally become a ranger again after a full season of being the “guy in the chair” just to do a total party pooper in their lame excuse as to why Billy couldn’t be gold ranger which I can’t remember off the top of my head rn but it was something really dumb which was worse because they did a couple episodes worth of them making it seem like Billy was gonna become the gold ranger smh

@@spike1670 also to add, I met JDF two years ago at Wizard Con (Chicago) and even then his interactions with the fans (including me) seemed very cold and distant as if he didn't want to be there. But I got a picture from him in the end so I'm at least grateful for that.
