i love how her designs are very "normal" but unique, and somehow a little unexpected. like it would totally make sense for those characters to dress like that for their time period and backgrounds. but some little twists of the costumes just frame the characters' personality super well!!!

What a great video. Milena's designs are exquisite. I am deeply impressed by the costumes in several of her films (The Shining, Clockwork Orange, The Hunger, Grand Budapest) but only today found out that they are all created by her - what a revelation
