FANFARE John Cook

Recorded by John Pemberton on the 1911 Forster & Andrews/Compton 1951 Hull City Hall organ.
In 1951 John Cook composed music for the Festival of Britain Pageant at Hampton Court and this Fanfare, based on music from that score, is dedicated to the Pageant Master, Christopher Ede. The composer associates this organ version with the first three verses of Psalm 81.
