When do you take hunt and when do you take metamorph? Are there specific things you look for?

Meta is stasis (safe) and has a strong 20. Hunt is a global stun, can be used to disappear when ganked. Hunt is therefore more of an offlaner ult, Meta is a little more of a teamfight ult. Look for what you need more. Enemies keep reliably engaging on you and you need to dodge them? Meta. Enemies have a strong channel and your team lacks interrupts? Hunt. You can fight a lot and the game goes past 20? Meta. You're soaking a ton and split pushing? Hunt. 7:02 - Fan: [fighting all the time with Battered --> Meta] ( gives HP, cleanses, also doesn't need the global mobility of Hunt) Edit 2: Also, this game in particular, Malthael has Last Rites, which is strong kill pressure on someone who is always low HP by design. Your strength is your sustain. Under 33% you're just dead though, so picking Meta helps you dodge the Last Rites as a panic button. Same with a Kael Pyroblast or a Tyrael Judgement. Those are very telegraphed and you can just pop R to avoid them.
