I think I wore out 2 copies of this cassette in the late 80's early 90's. One of my all time fav albums. And now, as a father with a 16 yr old son we just went and seen Slayer, Anthrax and Death Angel play a show in Indianapolis. Told him all about the S.O.D. jams with Ian and Benante and crew. He is into Thrash and speed metal just as much as I was at his age. ...One of the highlights of parenthood for me !

This album still sounds phenomenal now like it did when it first came out 35 years ago. This album has some of the greatest riffs I have ever listened to. Scott and Charlie did an incredible job throughout their years in Anthrax, but this is still my favorite album they have ever done. I love the whole album, but March Of The S.O.D. will always be my favorite.

im 50 now and remember the intensity when this Album came out.it was moshin paradise. i still have the t shirt today. i also saw S.o.d in the late 80's and in early 90's fresh out of prison (stolen property) i was on house arrest with ankle bracelet and i lubed up bracelet and was able to slip it off and Diamond Del and i went to go see M.o.D and hung around after unreal killer show and my thrash metal mosh hippy look and attitude got us on Billy Milanos tour bus and i got the whole band really baked and we we drinking all fucked up and i was yelling on tour bus, But can you do the Milano mosh, finally Milano gets up and says wanna see me! as he ran down tour bus isle moshing us all down or to the walls. we all laughed and laughed. All the guys were cool great party animals. best time ever. next morning couldnt get bracelet back on and p.o. was coming that Afternoon so i took scissors and cut bracelet. well the office, than the cops than the p.o. called than showed up. i made up story i fell in radiator floor vent in new housing project i was working on doing hardwood floor. i said it ripped off and almost broke my ankle. They believed me cause ankle was red, sore and swollen from trying so hard to slip it back on. well p.o. made me go to his office next morning to put on a new ankle bracelet and this one was not slipping off. Hey, unbelevable, it was so worth it to see them play a show and than meet them and party with them. Thats just one story of many from back in the day. i might of been a little crazy but wow did i have fun. Especially the 80's thrash, metal, punk, death metal scene was something to be remembered. Hippys , black t shirts, leather, long hair , combat boots, dangling one ear cross earing s. those were the days.Metal up your ass!
