Funnily enough, I somehow ended up with 10 Aphrodites which I maxed one out to Lvl 80 in the GL version but I ended up using Ascalon's normal and Bridal version more since they fit in with (normal) Tyrfing's 6 Star Leader ability and vise-versa before my account crashed. Also for cute bonuses, the 7th Generation Killer Princesses are either cute or beautiful or both. My heart still goes to Ascalon for saving my neck in several story quests where Lance-Users were restricted due to rewards (I had a Lvl 80 Rhongomyniad that was my physical tank.) Didn't think that Ascalon would eclipse my 6 Star Tyrfing's performance for survival. Now I need to go back and try to get what I lost through random roll, oh well.

Phantom Yami Rhongomyniad is equally strong as Guard or Balance. Balance is as mentioned, you have a higher Luck stat cap and suffer no negative max stats but nothing really stands out, Rhongomyniad has a pretty below-average Luck Growth but the lack of stat cap weaknesses helps since you don't lose out on durability. If you choose Guard, pair her up with allies who grant boosts to her evasion since the lack of Agility due to Guard can cripple her survival against anything that uses magic. I would also suggest boosting her HP, Agi and Spr from the get-go since she struggles to double a lot of late midgame enemies and some of which use magic (which is generally crippling when the major bulk of the units suffer from low Spr Growths). Generally, Rhongomyniad has great growths in HP, Str and Grd granted that she's a Lance General, her growths in Spd and Agi are decent so she's not going to be a deadweight if you train her to Lvl 80 properly but her growths in Mag and Luck are pretty stale not that she needs Mag anyways for a physical unit. Her skills also complement her physical power, she gets a passive that her physical defense which is common for most units who use physical power and two defensive buffs that can be used. The first, Defense Insight (+2 Grd for 3 turns) works for her but her second which is Stand Fast Lancer (+5 Grd for 3 turns for all allies within 3 tiles) which is learned once you clear her final quest works for her and all her allies in range, while both skills make her a physical wall against melee enemies, the second skill helps reduce damage that your fragile healers take. Her Dual Skill, Iron Barrier which is learned at Lvl 30 as a Grand General halves all damage from Swords, Axes and Lances should it activate when the enemy attacks/counterattacks her. All in all, she's a fantastic unit when dealing with physical enemies. She pairs well with normal Tyrfing's 6 Star Sword God Leader Bonus (+30% HP and +20% Physical Attack/Magical Attack/Physical Defense) which makes her more of a strong defender as well as paired with Bridal Ascalon's 6 Star Sword God Leader Bonus (+50% HP and +30% Acc/Evade) which helps her ability to hit more often and increase her ability to dodge (Rhongomyniad doesn't really dodge as much as tank hits). Both of the Sword Gods mentioned only affect Light Units, which Rhongomyniad is one of.

Phantom Yami Make sure that you bring units such as Bishops and Archbishop or Staff Gods along, you'll be facing more magical enemies than physical ones. With flying enemies who use both physical and magical attacks coming in around Turn 3-4 and continuing to show up for the next few turns, you need to heal as often as possible unless you're confident in your team's ability to dodge. Rhongomyniad also carries a Javelin which isn't a big deal since her Acc rate is pretty much average for her boss level (around 150 Hit Rate). Magical damage can get around her high HP and physical defense at the risk of taking some hefty damage in return if any of her attacks connect. It was a nightmare for me, I was solely using a team of 2 normal 6 Star Sword God Tyrfings (max level and skills) and my Tyrfing had a few moments where a Hit Rate of 30% - 49% seemed closer to 80% - 90% due to how RNG operates in standard FE games (which PoTK is based off of .)

Phantom Yami Apparently this version of Ascalon as she herself says isn't from your world, although this could be due to her deteriorating memories as all Killer Princes and Killer Princesses are forced to forget their past lives prior to becoming a Killer. Apparently these versions of the Killers that the Commander knows somehow managed to retain some of their memories unlike their main version counterparts who ended up with no memory about their past lives before becoming Killers. Sadly, Ascalon's memory of her past life by the time she becomes a 6-Star Killer Princess is as distant as you can't see anything beyond the horizon to where if her current Commander hadn't been there for her, she would simply be an empty shell hellbent on killing instead of being the Killer Princess we know who is very perky and normally energetic under just about every circumstance.
