i don’t like when people complain and say dumb things like “quality over quantity” when Insomniac has been working on multiple games for most releases and they still have great quality. at least, when they were saying that with the MCU, the quantity actually took a hit.

@ it’s true though there’s a reason people say it. Spider-Man 2 was good and all but the story was drastically short compared to their predecessor. And we ended up getting NO DLC Cause they had the studio somewhat split working on Wolverine. And now look at how Wolverine is turning out. There’s a chance it gets cancelled. It’s already been delayed multiple times the production has been a disaster. We need them to stay focused on one thing at a time.

@ good thing you brought up the MCU cause that also supports my point. They were focused on pumping out multiple titles a year and they took a MASSIVE hit. Compared to their success when there was less projects a year. It’s common sense man. When they are splitting their studio up to work on multiple projects it puts a strain on the studio itself and the quality ends up declining. There’s litterally proof to back up what I’m saying i don’t think saying “quality over quantity” is dumb cause that statement actually holds water.

@@CookedRigatoni1 Most game studios make multiple games at a time, it’s the only way they survive. One reason Spider-Man 2 felt short was because they had to make storylines for both Miles and Pete compared to focusing on one. In a perfect world they would have all the time they need to make a game, but our world is one where amazing games can come out and the studio is shut down for no good reason.

But the Wolverine and Spider Man titles are HUGE projects which are under contract with Sony, And that’s false the miles morales and Peter storylines both resided in the same game. The reason Spider-Man 2 fell short is because Sony rushed them and there was a lot of pressure on them. Insomniac litterally said that themselves after release. They even admitted that we got no DLC for Spider-Man and we WONT be getting any DLC, due to limited resources because they were working on another HUGE title which happens to be the Wolverine game which the production is a disaster.

Only way I'd see Venom releasing this year would be if it's basically done already. It also probably doesn't help they're gonna have to recast Venom due to the guy playing him being dead. So, no, unless it's already basically done there's no way we're getting Venom this year if we're getting it at all.

Is it just me? Cause I’ve been upset with the entertainment industry for gaming for awhile. It feels like triple A companies barely care about their community and more about the money. Don’t get me wrong these games that have came out are playable and can be fun. But with little effort being put out to meet deadlines or even what Spider-Man 2 suffered from is absurd. Don’t get me wrong SM2 is a good game but after seeing the leaks of everything that got cut I was disappointed and the news about these games half the time don’t get any better. Only game I have left to look forward to that hasn’t come out that I can think of right now is Lost Records.

The fact that there is no DLC for the Spider-Man two still …what makes you think I would pre-order this game even if it came out love Spider-Man but that last move left a bad taste in my mouth yeah they got hacked. Doesn’t mean or give them the right not to put out something that they basically worked on. Already smh --it’s kind of like how Madden slowly, but surely gets worse with micro transactions. This year was the worst definitely not getting that next season either smh I was expecting to play Spider-Man 2 for aleast a few years (not 6 months )( dlc …. Maybe a venom demo etc ) With them straight up cut the cord on Spider-Man two gives me no hope I unless they reach out to the people who spent top dollar on Spider-Man too, and give them some kind of discount which will never happen.
