Only U2 can help someone in distress without missing a beat LITERALLY and then return perfectly to the song like it was all planned

I was at that show but in Section 403. It was a bit like Live Aid redux. It got a little tense for a minute or so, especially for those of us who couldn’t really tell what was going on. Bono has always kept a watchful eye out for the audience at U2’s shows. Just the kind of human being he is.

Unforgettable Fire Tour, South Florida. He stopped the concert because a fight broke out near the front. "Nobody fights at a U2 concert!"

In the 90s I ran into Bono and Flea doing a hello to fans and a young girl handed Flea a rose and Bono and Flea took the mother and young daughter to the pan Pacific for tea pretty cool

I attended 7 Sphere shows all on the floor and at two of them there were medical emergencies. One towards the back of the floor in the center and one between Bono and Adam about 10 people from the stage. The one in the back of the GA section was more serious and security had to get a wheelchair to get the guy out. I thought he was dead. (Found out later he wasn't....phew!) The one closer to the front people were yelling at Bono and security for help. Bono didn't see either incident and therefore didn't stop the show, but I know that if he had seen either that he would have stopped the show in order to get assistance to the person. Too bad Travis Scott and his crew couldn't have done the same. Some of those people may be alive today if they had just stopped the show when fans asked for help.

How was floor experience? Do you think it made it hard to get full sphere effect?
@etainafuzz8 ай бұрын
@@alexanderstrong357 Honestly, I have spoken with many friends who saw U2 both on the floor and in the seats in virtually every section and we all agree that it seems the show was designed and optimized for people on the floor. The only thing you don't get by being on the floor, to us, is the 4D effect as the chairs have side speakers in them. The people I know said that was more annoying than anything though. They also didn't have the 4D effects working until U2 started back up in 2024.

I think that it was Brian who jumped in. It looked like his profile and he would have been at the front there already in front of Bono. I suspect that if Bono is asking for someone to help and Brian knew that Bono himself was already safe that he would jump in to assist.

Was it a fight or someone was sick and had to go out and people would not move out of way?
@jimjoe89 ай бұрын
There is no fighting at U2 shows. It’s against the rules. Unfortunately, it gets a bit warm in the pit so I suspect the person fainted. If you’re not rested, fed and hydrated it could happen. We had an afternoon bite to eat and nap. It helped. I believe the person in the way did not realize they were in the way until Bono pointed it out.

The general problem is the performers don't want to end their careers when the time is right. I liked them when they were young, now they are old and still want to prove something but it is sad to see this picture watch and listen to them anymore. Bono, old grandfather, pathetic.
