Jay Aston is a natural interviewer. Who knew?! Thoroughly enjoyed watching. Bucks Fizz, the first band l ever saw live. Followed by, the very next night (Birmingham Odeon) Teardrop Explodes. An eclectic taste in music at a young age :)

As a US DJ in that period, I'll let you know RCA never bothered to send me copies to play on air. I have CD copies now which I imported, but now I'm retired. Nuts. They really botched promotion of Bucks Fizz here. Several of their songs could have hit, either on Top 40 or Adult Contemporary radio, but we never saw them. And if America had seen Bucks Fizz, they would have liked them. Love ya, Jay.

Jay Aston Fascinating interviews Jay, you are a naturally warm and open, beautiful woman. You should have your own TV show. The campaign starts now ... 😘

Great video guys, listening to Lara and Ian and their obsession with the Fizz made me smile because like all fans I see myself in them both. Great that you are touring again this year Jay. Drew x

Wow, and I thought I was a major Fizz fan, but obviously I have nothing on these two!!!!But seriously this is an interesting insight in to fan psychology, and I also relate to a lot of what they said...the wonderful colourful, glamorous world of Eurovision, Bucks Fizz, (and Dollar!) provided a major escape and outlet for me whilst I was at school, through was what at times a difficult childhood, and yes I also got teased for my music tastes!!......and yet I now have a strong affection and nostalgia for the innocence, of those times now I am older.I like your interviewing style Jay.....have you ever thought of following in Sandie Shaw''s footsteps and training to be a counsellor??? You have a really nice way of putting people at their ease.

The band that make you heave? That’s not nice, no need at all for that!
