First they took Ziva. Then they took Tony. Then OMG they took my Abby. Taking Gibbs is the last straw !!!!!!

NCIS Los Angles.. one of the best shows on TV. Definitely the best of all the NCIS series. The writing is exciting and Cutting Edge, the acting is far superior than the acting on the other NCIS programs and the characters on NCIS LA are personable and relatable. What more could you ask for in a TV Series.

NCIS WAS THE BEST. And yes it had a long time running. But it is like your friends and family. I will not start another one. I do wish them the best.

The problem with a long running show such as NCIS is that when an actor decides to move on how do the producers handle it? Take NCIS NOLA for example. Lucas Black decided to leave the show which is his choice. The problem was that in killing off his character, La Salle it interupted the flow of the shows narrative. The new chracter brought in was Ok. Not having La Salle alive in Alabama dealing with his dad's business and his brothers death and be able to refer to La Salle once in a while in my opinion dealt the show a blow for which it never recovered. Yes the death of La Salle drove the narrative forward but only a short distance. I think that character was the "heart" of the show similiar to Hoss on Bonanza. When Dan Blocker passed away that show lost energy. His character , Hoss, was considered the "heart" of that show. The producers tried to keep it going but they couldn't. NCIS La- still has life in it. The newer characters are great and while Neil & Eric are not there that transition was handled wel. The "heart" of that show is Hetty Lange and as long as Linda Hunt appears even once in a while NCIS LA should be OK. That shows biggest problem was the sad passing of Miguel Ferrer who was Granger the Assistant Director. Mosley did not work out. It was due to the relationships between the core group of characters that prevented NCIS LA from sinking. It was not the actor brought in to play Mosley being at fault but how to write for her. Granger became part of the tean after a while and was a check on Hetty. The producers & writers of NCIS LA could not figure out how to place her and the abrasive nature wore viewers down. In having Ret. Admiral Kilbride as the new Assitant Director the producers have found another "Granger". Gerald McRaney is wonderful in that role and has the right edge in his interactions with the others. As for NCIS, I have no problem with Gibbs retiring. I think that Gary Cole's character should be given time to see what direction the show goes towards. Someone such as Gibbs is likely to suffer serious burn out and his finding a degree of serenity makes sense. Thankfully they did not kill off that character. NCIS has a nasty habit of offing characters or leaving them in perilous siutuations. They are never mentioned again- such as Sloan did she & the orphaned girls get out of harms way? I had no problem with Bishop's exit. The problem was that it was not fully thought out and it did not fit the character. Abby who is never mentioned is assumed to be in London. NCIS Hawaii is too new for me to comment on but somehow I hear faint echos of 5-O .It has potential and this first season and next will indicate how long it airs. Quite frankly if it does good but not super I would give it at least 5-7 year run. I think CBS will renew NCIS if only to match the 20 year record of shows such as Gunsmoke. NCIS LA has another season or two left. Considering that it is on Sunday nights and the scheduling is interrupted by football games and specials it does well in the ratings. Why do they have to schedule specials such as Adele on Sunday- why not Wednesday or Thursday? Why not take the Sunday line up and switch it to a Monday for that event? Also depending on how well Seal Team performs on Paramount + NCIS could end up on that streaming surface for its last year. I think that Seal Team will do well. Another factor to consider is how many 1 hour dramas CBS has on deck. Apparently CBS had several this season so CSI Vegas went to broadcast and Seal Team to Paramont + CSI Vegas is not doing well ratings wise which is a shame. Hopefully CBS will give it time and renew both NCIS & NCIS LA. NCIS Hawaii is certain in my opinion for season 2

Los Angeles will be my favorite coz I love their humor, their jokes are great and Agent Sam is just the greatest ncis agent ever to exist. He is a beast, he never lose and his kindness is just incredible. I love NCIS too but when all the good agent left the show it felt the show was slowly dying.

3:55 “moved the crime drama to Sin City... Vegas follows Dwayne Cassius Pride”... Wtf are you talking about? This literally never happened. No NCIS Series has ever “moved to Vegas”.

NCIS ratings were 30% down after Gibbs departure, NCIS Los Angeles with its increasingly insular storylines was down 20% and the truly awful NCIS Hawaii (come back NOLA all is forgiven) barely kept itself above the CBS ratings cancellation danger zone in season 1. Another year like that and it will be over for the NCIS franchise. I have been a fan of NCIS since its first episode, (I named my dogs Leroy and Jethro) but despite having all the episodes from last year readily available and having watched every episode of NCIS prior to that, I haven't watched any of the latest NCIS seasons to their completion. Whether its the grief of Gibbs departure (Gary Cole you're no substitute and nor are you Katrina Law) or the absolute tedium of Sam Hanna's on screen preaching at every opportunity in NCIS LA or the utter absurdity and childishness of the NCIS Hawaii storylines more and more I believe NCIS has run its course and run out of credibility. Whilst NCIS itself might struggle on for a couple more years (it still just about has the ratings), I expect Los Angeles and the tedious Hawaii to bite the dust this season no matter how many crossovers they plan to shore up these shows. I'll probably get around to watching NCIS and Los Angeles out of habit but NCIS Hawaii. Half a season of their infantile dribblings was more than enough. it's a pity they didn't resurrect RED because that would have been a far better cast and show than Hawaii will ever be Apart from the occasional incredulous storylines (eg the Maggie Shaw nonsense) Hawaii was just dull dull dull. I am still in shock that CBS thought it was a good idea to renew it whilst dumping Magnum (thank goodness NBC picked it up). Ah well all good things have to come to an end sometime.
