Madonna's sexually charged videos surely caused controversy but the TV stations eventually played them at certain hours. This was the first time Madonna retreated but the damage was done and the boycott was real. Why? You can expose the sexual hypocrisy of the USA but don't you dare expose how much "the land of the free" costs to periferic countries.

I recall when this music video was released around 2003, in fact I remember there were two versions of this music video. There's meaning behind all of Madonna's music, it's provocative and real, unfortunately there was some backlash towards Madonna at the time too. It's all true but sad. All hail the Queen of Pop

I was in the 7th grade and terrified of the war. I still can't watch footage of 9/11. I was so mad when she didn't release the but looking back...can you imagine if she did? It would be career suicide. I love when Madonna is REAL. Americans at the time weren't having it though.
