He and the Mythrol are for sure the everyman of this series, not exactly strong but manage to survive in an unforgiving area of the galaxy through more practical means when compared to the other protagonists. I like that about them, in addition to the fact that they weren't always 100% good in their lives but still experience character development in a way that makes them likeable and plausible.
