A small detail I like at the end is how they display Negan with a holstered knife (and standing by a building at his own free will) which shows how much trust Alexandria has in him since his past actions. I personally think this nods to a large conflict for Maggie once she discovers the reformed Negan.

It's been a while but TWD has returned with 6 bonus episodes for season 10 "in-between-quels" -as the writers called them - smaller-scale anthology style stories filmed during the pandemic to lay the seeds for season 11. A perfectly balanced premiere with a lot of focus on character development, build up, reunions and some action. Thank you Skybound for the time and effort you put into these reaction compilations.

The tension between Maggie and Negan is going to be really really really really tense. At the end of the episode, the way they both stared each other down you knew that different thoughts and fears were running thru their heads. Will Maggie learn that Negan has changed or will this come back to haunt her and everyone else? For right now we will have to wait until the end of Season 10 or the beginning of Season 11.
