Fans remember Beth Chapman at Waikiki farewell

About 500 Hawaii residents and visitors watched from the shore and the waters off Fort DeRussy Beach in Waikiki Saturday afternoon as family members and friends bade farewell to reality-TV star Beth Chapman, who rose to fame as Mrs. Dog on “Dog the Bounty Hunter.”
Chapman, 51, died Wednesday following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Beth in person, words cannot adequately convey the impact she had on my life. She was like the mom-sister I never knew. I often flip through episodes looking for her giving advice to others....just to hear and take in her words. She had more innate wisdom than most, and she will be forever missed!
