I love how they're naming the Aerialbot figures after the Top Gun pilots. If Air Raid is going to be "Iceman", I hope Fireflight is "Jester" and Slingshot is "Viper". :D

Holy Crap! , That has better transforming parts than what was on the Zeta Toys ones, they don't look floppy and loose, way to go Fans Toys, I'll probably wait and save a ton of money to get these guys in hopefully a box set.

The aerialbot team was the first gestalt team I had. Was great until Slingshot's head twisted off when I tried to turn the arm. Always pretended another team cut off the arm after that.

Excellent figure. Fun transformation. The hardest part for me was knowing how to tuck the shoulders in those shoulder covers into jet mode. The instructions are only so helpful.

He is so well done I can forgive the two tiny features I don't like; landing gear always down, & the ever-unavoidable body-block in plane mode. It is super difficult waiting for the rest of them to come out. I can't wait to see how Fireflight and Slingshot are gonna turn out. :D

I, myself, have been pining for them. ICEMAN/AirRaid was just delayed 'til May 2020. He had a release date of April-something & then, given the world right now...shunted out a month for sure. Their Berserk/Blitzwing was due March and shunted out to September. argh. (I've got a thing for the fliers.) Who knows when the other two will be even previewed on their site much less released. Thomas/Astrotrain isn't on their site, but there's a collection of his design images out there on the web. I need a good Blastoff, Cosmos too...

I might be in the minority, but I'm not into combiners, excepting Devastator. I'd much rather have the Aerialbots (or any other combiner set) without the ability to combine so it frees the engineers and designers up to focus on getting bot and alt modes as accurate as possible while keeping the transformation fun. I kinda doubt there's much of a market for that, tho, unfortunately.
