Young Rimmer might wish to note that his grandfather played a major role at Tranmere during our own dark days in the early 1980s, later going on to create Tranmere's successful Academy. Warwick's uncle, Ellis Rimmer played for Tranmere alongside Dixie Dean, going on to win the then First Division with Sheffield Wednesday. A club that can take 2,000 away, who continue to support them even when 5 down will surely survive.
