Chae-young Park I don't understand the mentality in a lot of kpop fans. They always want something new and unique, different. But Kpop is a small national industry, that international fans have started liking. It's not like Western music, where there are thousands of unique artist and producers. People should understand by now that Kpop isn't as big, and many groups use the same music producers and MV directors. So there won't be many differences. I mean, if people complain this sounds like 2010 EDM, what's wrong with that? Korean producers aren't as up to date as Western producers, and I think that's fine. Honestly, I never listened to EDM before, so whatever this 2010 EDM is, sounds fine to me. I mean I love that a lot of Kpop sound retro or old school. People just need to accept that Kpop is what it is, they do what they do. And they should not compare it to Western music and culture.

dionis02 Exactly. I think people honestly look at Kpop the same way as Western music. They see all the fancy MV's, catchy songs and assuming it must be racking in loads of money. It's completely different over there in the way they do things. But internet people just seem to believe they always know better are form their opinions without really know what goes on behind the scenes. Not that I know any better. But I at least realize this and enjoy Kpop with an open mind and don't compare it to anything other than Kpop itself.

I just want to correct some infos. Alice, Nara, Lime and Yooyoung are under fantagio while Yoo Ara and Yoonjo are the only ones under Pledis. They are supposed to be seven-member group but the other trainee (Nicole) left Pledis before Hello Venus' debut. Hello Venus was actually a project formed through collaboration of fantagio and Pledis- called Tricell Media. But then Pledis and fantagio had decided to terminate this project due to unknown reasons. Yoo Ara and Yoonjo returned to Pledis while Alice, Nara, Lime and Yooyoung continued to promote as Hello Venus (they are managed by fantagio). Then on September 2014, they introduced 2 new members, Yeoreum (Summer) and Seoyoung.
