I think Kendrick achieved two things with Euphoria that are unprecedented: 1) He drove the point home that Drake only presents himself as black for his own benefit; Kendrick basically said Drake wants to be seen as black because he wants to be accepted by the culture but at the same time he does a very poor job of representing black people because of his character, values (or lack thereof) and the way he behaves in general; While all of this had been said before, Kendrick really managed to bring it all together in a cohesive and poignant way. 2) Kendrick pointed out that Drake probably hates women because he doesn't respect them, he surrounds himself with the worst type of women, encourages them to give in to their worst tendencies, and basically treats them like objects; I believe people massively underestimate the impact this will have on Drake (the self-entitled Certified Lover Boy) and his fan base in the long run, especially if Kendrick continues to emphasize this point on future diss tracks.

Lotta the salty people in these comments missed a pretty insightful discussion because they’re too caught up in whether or not one of their favs says another fav is cool and good. The appeal of rap beef isn’t that there’s a winner, guys, it’s about the show. Kendrick is our face, Drake is our heel, and I hate to break it to everyone, but you don’t have a cool or entertaining wrestling match (not trying to demean hip hop, it and wrestling are both great art forms) if you have a complete and uncontested winner. It’s like playing a video game with cheats on, there’s no satisfaction there. As for the NFR guys yeah they’re definitely more skeptical of Kendrick and softer on Drake, but look at these comments, we need some people to play devil’s advocate even if they’re reaching. @@ayoisthataspiderbiteonyopp9381 give a rebuttal on what? These guys famously love Kendrick. Fantano doesn't really like Drake but gave him props on push ups. All I'm seeing in the comment section is criticism NFR for being Drake fan boys but when you look at the totality of both creators' background, you could make a case that Fantano is also biased. But no one in this comment section cares about bias, you just want content creators to agree with your take. If they don't, you'll make fun of them and call them Drake Stans. Just let people have their own takes. Now please rebuttal that.

@@someonerandom3141 I wasn't actually calling him biased in this beef. I think he gave super reasonable takes here. I was just saying that people are only calling NFR biased because they have a different take. If we were truly analyzing bias we would also have to take a look at Fantano who has actually beefed with Drake weirdly enough.

Of course Kendrick should mention things that were said already by other rappers. You know why? Because he's one of the most famous rappers of our time and exponentially more people will hear a thing when he says it versus when Joe Budden or Pusha T says it. Compare the day 1 numbers of euphoria to the day 1 numbers of Adidon or a typical Joe Budden Podcast episode and you see exactly what I'm talking about. The honest truth is that because Kendrick is more famous, messages will reach a lot more people when they come from him, not because they're new or original insights, but because he's that much more famous than the people who have said them before.

Who’s here after 6:16 dropped 😂 these dudes sounded like they want Drake to have a “nuke”…let’s get the house in order first

Hmm if I were to present a bar I think that Drake can't Answer too it would be reffering to Back to Back as a Lyt track, seemingly impliying daylyt wrote Back to Back the song that ended the Meek Mill Drama

What’s “Taylor made freestyle” role in this? Ppl saying Drake didn’t put out something fully aimed at Kendrick like it doesn’t exist.

It was a creative troll to try to get Kendrick to respond quickly. I do t think anyone takes it as Drake seriously trying to bar down Kendrick

This beef really shows NFR’s agenda. They claim in their videos that Kendrick is their favorite rapper and then now they are really riding for Drake showing their true colors on how they feel. I wouldn’t be surprised if most of their opinions are fabricated

Euphoria starts out “ everything they say about me is true “ then he tells you everything that people have been saying about him …..that was the point
@dontask36136 ай бұрын
People are legit still finding shit in euphoria, it's not his killshot and he even says it at the end. Drake better come hard after though because if he comes with some weak shit I think the level of euphoria is good enough to make it seem like drake still lost.
@roachdoggjr46486 ай бұрын
Honestly idk what angle Drake can even take. Kendrick reframed the whole beef in it just being a love hate thing, nothing to do with being the greatest, and painted Drake as a paranoid weirdo tryna call around to get dirt instead of keeping it friendly. If Drake comes back and he's really trying to dig up some shit to get at Kendrick, I feel like most people gonna just see it as pathetic and lame.

I just haven't seen the sentiment that this track absolutley destoryed drake, sure some people on twitter be chirping but like they would be doing that no matter what, i don't think thats the consensus of people that needs to be argued with. I don't think drake needs defending in this instance. Generally i think most people can agree that whilst this was a good track it didn't singlehandedly end drakes career overnight and it feels like the nfr boys are doing people a disserivice by working under the assumption that this is what people believe
@rashaadpratt20116 ай бұрын
@synthiandrakon I think they’re interpreting people saying “Drake can’t compete with this level of skill Kendrick just set” to “Drake is done, career ended”
