For me it’s Alex Turner singer of Arctic Monkeys. From the start he looked the part of the underground British alt rock lad. Looking nerdy with a little Beatle’s inspired haircut and jeans up through 2013. Then when AM came out and the band went from well respected to mega stars in rock. Alex took a turn and dressed in a lot of button downs and got the combed over in the front look. His demeanor going from humble down to earth dude to jaded rockstar quickly. 2018 and here he comes again with another fit. It’s the Vegas lounge singer look to match Tranquility Base and Casino. Rocking lots of leather jackets and combing his hair back hit that sultry vibe perfectly. I can’t wait to see the next album and how he’s gonna evolve more

No mention of Prince???? I love Lil Nas, but Prince walked so Lil Nas X could fuckin SPRINTTTTT. Also would love to throw some other names in: Sun Ra, St. Vincent, Stevie Nicks, Orville Peck, Mama Cass, Solange, and Missy Elliot. I could probably keep going with listing more! But those are my top shoutouts I can think of.
