FANTASIA. A Stop motion Animation by Guldies

Maybe the kid fed an animal (in this case the shape shifting face monster) some candy and then it just kept coming back. At first I thought the kid eventually got scared of the monster, hence the footsteps running around the house, and he throws the candy at it to make it go away. But when he asks his mom for more candy, and I thought he then must like it coming back? I can't tell if the kid likes the monster, or just wants it to go away.

I was scrolling through some older comments and I'm glad I found yours! What you just said is exactly what I had in mind when creating this. In my mind the kid is scared. The monster and the kid shares a bond, but there is no bond if there is no candy.

what's going on with the comments? almost every comment i see saying something about the amount of dislikes gets a ton of replies that are just utter nonsense. like some are just weird sentences in different languages, some are promoting other channels, and most are just random letters... this is seriously the first time that i've seen something like that happens, and it all seems recent, since there are comments from 5 months ago saying that there were only 27k dislikes, and right now its at 47k! the video has being up for two and a half years, and there is no reason that it would suddenly get such hate. someone down it the comments said this video got hijacked by bots, but i really don't understand...why??? like, its a stop motion video. sure, a very popular one, but... how come someone would want to hurt this video? its so weird..... edit: checked the most liked comment about the dislikes (from 1 year ago) and it seems that the bots started around 4 months ago...

hey, i may have some sort of explanation! you know all those kid animation videos? the ones that are really cheaply made with animations of like, nursery rhymes with superheros? they also share the same traits as this video - millions of views, weird like to dislike ratio, and gibberish comments. if you ask me, i think this video somehow got thrown into the same algorithm as the kids animation channels did, and the gibberish comments as well as dislikes are the young children watching them that get lost in youtubes interface, accidentally liking & leaving comments. i really can't say that for sure but it seems likely based on the title (fantasia is a disney movie) and the genre of video (animation)

This was amazing work! I love how detailed the head is. This whole video takes skill. While he's busy making the clay and objects moving frame by frame he has to keep in mind how gravity and liquid/fluid works, but at the same time give the creatures movements that's not exactly the most natural yet at the same like it looks like proper movements. The transformation of the creatures and the sound effects are superb. Big fan of studying at different animation typed and people really don't realize the effort put into these amazing animations, but it's people who's out there willing to do these so that we have 'entertainment' and it's because of them that I'm also inspired to do in the direction of 2D animation. Respect and support from me man! Amazing work!

Not everything has to have a clear message, they might just enjoy doing it. Your stop motion films bring me so much joy knowing how long you actually take to create videos like this! You're videos remind me so much of DHMIS, a series I loved, but have a much more realistic feel about them! There is always suspense, which is something I struggle enjoying with films, but you create a work of art with it! Every second you wonder what will happen, will the creature change? Wow, the visuals are simply outstanding. the first appearance of the blob thing at the start had the motion nailed perfect, that and the lighting just a perfect shot! I don't think a computer could replicate that...I could intuit the texture and consistency of the blob...and it was gross :D Your skill set with that of a story creator (and a warehouse of "cheap labour") I'd imagine it'd be a fund-able project. The effort you put in DEFINITELY came through in the vid

This was... astounding! Not only did it take a lot of time to make, but you had to sculpt the models and be very careful when filming. As someone who did stop motion before, sometimes my hand would start shaking and I would accidentally damage the set. I really don't know how you do it, but the method is probably a kind of magic, just like your videos. Keep up the good work!

Hi and thanks! This was animated using almost only Super Sculpey. I don't recommend using only Super Sculpey when doing stop motion because it's a bit dense and heavy, but it looks pretty and it's great for details. I recommend going for Plastilina instead, mixed with Fimo or Super Sculpey :)
