I can guarantee that if she strictly did Gospel music she wouldn't be as "popular" as she is now. I feel like God allowed her to do both mainstream and gospel so that she can go out and win souls that hopefully follow her into Christ! So when people say she's "running from her calling"... stop✋. What God has for her, it is for her. She's exactly in the position he wants her to be. God works in mysterious ways, let him work!!

She was a worship leader be4 she won Idol so it's naturally in her. I can't say she's running only she and God knows that. I enjoy her singing especially when she sings gospel. she's more like the Aretha Franklin of our generation. they both are so churchy. both good at music full of soul and passion. rooted in a gospel sound and background.

God has fantasia exactly where he wants her. yall need to stop saying she is running from her calling. she is not running from her calling. she has always sang gospel. nothing is wrong with singing about love or relationships. lol just chill guys, she will go where God leads her. the bible says go out in the highways, etc. its about church, but a relationship with God. God does use people, but he is one who saves. :)

my thing is if GOD didn't put FANTASIA in the idol then who did. THE idol had been on for a couple years. JESUS went from the church to the mountain top to minister to his people. FANTASIA is singing about love,hurt pain,betrayal etc...does not the bible speak of all those things and is not GOD and JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR "LOVE" so explain to me what is she doing wrong????? Nothing, what it is ,is that everyone wants FANTASIA to go the way they feel she should go...But GOD is taking her down the path he wants her to follow not what you want.... Not an opinion the TRUTH....FANTASIA gives us GOSPEL every time she opens her mouth.. FANTASIA thanks GOD all the time and in every performance,concert,speaking engagements etc..but you all don't see that ....GOD BLESS

Amen Nathaniel Thomas, she is working in her mission field just like someone working in China, or Africa or as Jesus went out among the people; remember who Paul ate with? The church is not the building but God's people are the church, the body of Christ. She is fulfilling God's great commission, "go out and make disciples of men." As Fantasia ' s brothers and sisters in Christ we need to lift her up, her husband, her children, her mother and her extended family because she is on the front lines and satan has her in his sights but she knows that, when I read some comments on line I can see satan using people who are unaware of his tools. Don't be discouraging in your comments, your being used. You don't know what the Lord is saying to Fantasia. Let's cover her in our prayers.
