Hi Jody glad to see you and Little Pea. If your infusions hurt when they insert the needle into the port ask your doctor or nurses to give you the Lidocream numbing cream. Sometimes my port turns and if I didn’t put the cream on I’d be screaming in pain. Silently though not to scare others. Sometimes they try again and again before they call someone to do it right. Those lanterns are nice for Christmas or anytime. Have a blessed day and weekend❤P.S.Now I check products to see if it is bioengineered Meaning it had chemicals to alter it. I won’t buy them anymore. When I had a port for chemo they gave me a cream called emla cream that i put on the site before i went in for treatment. It numbed the skin and it was so much easier. When I was a nurse we used it on newborn baby boys to do their cicumcisions. Several of them would sleep through a circumcision and if they did cry it was usually because they were tied down. It really made a difference.

Hi Jody and Pea... I hope your infusions go well. You look great! DT has so many 4th of July things ...its hard to choose! I like that big sign and the cute lanterns....yes they will be pretty at Christmas. Nothin' phases Pea....oops take that back....he's not a fan of hawks! He's looks so cute when he eats his peanut. Jessica did a walk through and showed us all the cool sea turtle stuff they have out. I thought of you right away. Little Pea boy was he mad today, then again it was almost his bed time. He has all weekend to be out of his cage so he just has to deal with it. This weekend it will be nice here for once. Sunday night and all day Monday the rain will be back. I was sorry to hear about how much it hurts to have your port accessed. That happened to me the first chemo visit I had, but from that point on, I had a numbing cream to rub on it. It really helped. Ask your doctor to prescribe it for you so you can put it on thirty minutes before infusion, then cover it with press and seal. It will absorb into your skin, and you won't feel the needle anymore. I hope that information helps you. Have a great weekend.

Hi Jody! We just got through with 5 days of rain & drearyness! Now, the sun is out. I'm so sorry Jody that you have to have these infusions. Maybe at some point you want have them anymore# I LOVE those lanterns! Yes. I would save them for Christmas along with the stars too! You could stand them up in your living room or put on a wreath for Christmas like you said. Very nice haul. 4th of July stuff SO GORGEOUS! This year I'm only doing coastal decor for Summer.
