Yeah that's true my bird bird just left at music with birds Sony talk to each other but I only have two we buy them different toys buddy they have a bad cylinder so I put this song on for them for they called much more better 😔😢 my friends listen to this song and then my birds just go crazy the scream and they just bite me not me but my mom 😬 they bite her to to the b word on its blood and it's really bad she screams sometimes a limited I like real loud but it's real they hurt her and I had to birds and because I'm on Russia I called him Russian names so it's kind of hard to retrieve what I'm saying so I only like like this but I feel sad for my mom wants to come too so whatever I have two birds and one of the boys when they're girl they're kind of married so I'm waiting for a different baby but they're sometimes bite each other they have fights 😖 I have to both broke them up then time I always have to be now with them I can I have free time I have to go and I'm up and it's totally a messed I did not want to clean them up Brain react the phone just ring I'm sorry just stopped but I hope you're going to not enjoy to reading this and bye have a good day

I grew up with Parakeets for a very long time. It was always so noisy in the house, because they always sang around, and I loved it to listen to them. A couple ago the last one died and it was very calm. When I went to the living room, where they were, and when I didn't hear any noise, I couldn't do anything but crying. I keep coming back to these birdies because my hamster lol He LOVES the chirping. I was so amazed how he'd stop whatever he's doing, literally go into a trance & slowly breaks down, snuggles and then falls asleep! It's soooo cute lol I think because of living in the pet shop right in front of the birds gave him this comfort & now...memory :) -beautiful video, thank you! - I had 20 as a kid , we let them fly around the house & once they mated. My budgie and Quaker parrot love this!! If anyone has only one parakeet and is wondering if they should get a second bird i say YES!! I have a Quaker parrot that i got about 3 months after my parakeet and they adore each other. My parakeet was always happy however they are very social birds and become so much more social and happy when they have a mate to live with. You can give your parakeet enough love and attention but they need the socialization that only other birds can provide, You will see a huge difference in there overall personality by getting another bird.

I don't think that a bird listening to this is a good idea. Birds send messages or communicate by chirping. Your bird might think that there's ANOTHER bird and try to find it.

My new parakeet Sunny (3 months old) is going wild listening to this video, his own kind. Sunny is "free" and flying in my living room overhead chirping, like a happy budgie should. I have a 16 yer old cockateel Cleo that he likes to follow everywhere but Cleo likes him to keep his distance ,"poor" Sunny. Sunny however does not let himself be deterred though, hahaha. charleycleo Thank you so much. Did Charley do tricks? Timothy used to be so silly. I had another one Lucy and she used to turn a complete flip on her feet! I never could figure how she did it. :) Timothy would do something if you showed him how, he was smart. Did your Charley talk? I read that you can teach them to talk. If you take them alone in a room and repeat a word so many times and do this so many times a day, for so long (can't remember), then if they are going to talk, then they will. I love parakeets, they are so comforting and loving. Did you take Charley out of the cage? Did he play with toys or anything, like the videos on KZbin? Just wandering. :)

Yes Charley could talk and say: I love you schat" schat means sweetheart in Dutch , and many more words and short sentences. He was so cheerful and I have a few videos of him on yutube to remind me of him under the name charleycleo for me and my family. He used to strip my orchids too.

Found a budgie and now he is unfortunately alone. He might be alone for 6 months if I don't find his owner (after that he is legally mine, so he then gets a partner). I played this to make him cheer up and chirp and he obvisiously loves this :)

If you do get a partner, it might seem counter-intuitive but get one of the opposite sex. Budgies will not mate unless you give them a mating box, so you won't get any babies. And the dynamics between male-female is much easier and stronger than between male-male or female-female.

Jessewantsbeef I found the budgie in Northern Germany. The longest fly "attempt" of it was about 10 seconds. It is not really an attempt, the budgie can fly, he just seems really awkward in flying. His ring number doesn't fit into the GB system. I needed to check this to be sure he isn't from far far away, since I can't find an owner looking for him.

Most Parakeets are born in the Australian "outback," and form flocks that fly together to find food and water. They live up to 14 years, unless they're captured, sold, and then kept as "pets." I think it's cruel to cage a bird,, as they were born to fly free in their beautiful homeland, & not spend their lives on a perch, because some one thinks they're "cute."
