I love when you show the space I can actually visit. So fun! I feel really lucky. In March I bought an Arts & Crafts lamp from a guy in St. Pete...a birthday present to myself! I adore it so very much. What a warm glow it gives off with its antique slag-glass shade. It makes me exceedingly happy.

Hey George from way up here! That booth really is small, isn't it? But, the way you placed everything (alot of items!) In there, it all just goes together so well! A lot of items from completely different times just blend together so well inside your booth. Your eyes just flow from item to item & its not so full that we feel well never see it all. Really nicely set up. You may not have to worry about running out of items & restocking until you get back down there! Be safe in your travels.

It is small and a little hard to work, I've learned a few things about how to keep it accessible though

Wild George, you're you and it is absolutely brilliant. I love the Viking glass. I have a small collection. Nothing compared to what you have. I also have some horse hair potary. You had quite an a ray of different items, something for everyone. I hope it goes well for you be safe. Waiting for the next video.😊😊😊😊😊

What a really nice and really eye catching booth George.👍👍😊 I saw several items in there that would have done some damage to my Visa card. Namely that Czech primary color vase and that Irish vase. Those miniature domes were outstanding. Super nice job. And your "cheek to jowl" comment was something I get from hearing that expression up here in IL. LOL

I do like the Czech vases! I probably learned that expression from my Michigan mom

I would love to peruse your space in St. Pete!! So much wonderfulness!!! I love the Jim Shore Orcas… living in the PNW, I have become completely fascinated with our Orcas especially the southern residents… even had an up close and personal encounter at Point No Point with J2 aka “Granny”, the former matriarch of the pod… she was the oldest known Orca… she lived 105 years… RIP Granny 🖤🤍. I think your booth looks great!!😉

Hello! I live up there too. Some twenty years ago when my kids were little, we would take a month every year and pick huckleberries every day. Up at 5am & pick until we had 2 gallons. One year we told the kids (as an incentive to pick) that if they picked every day & didn't complain, after we were done picking & sold what we were going to sell, that we'd take the time & take them to the coast to see the orcas. Wow, did they pick! We did go over to the coast (and I discovered that blackberries grew wild & we could pick those too! Whole other story there! Lol) and yes, we did get to see the orcas. They were so happy. Made the entire month of picking, the drive over & back (with the traffic, ugh) and the glee on their faces so worth it all! One memory we will never forget & we all collect orca figurines to this day.

@@Sass-Glass it’s an experience that changes you for sure!!! One you can’t get at “sea world”…. Oh boy I have wild blackberries all over my yard!! Some of the best berries grow here… huge ones too! But I haven’t been huckleberry picking yet! Where is the best place to go?? I know indigenous tribes get first dibs and that there guidelines for picking… but would love to experience it!!

Everyone has their favorite "picking spots" and it's like a big secret. They won't share the locations very often! Lol. Our favorite spot was the one where my youngest kept saying "there's something over there," just about 25 feet away from us. We didn't think anything about it, figuring it was birds or deer. A long while later we walked back out to our car & pulled out onto the dirt road & low & behold, right where we had been picking, a small to medium size black bear came running out in front of our car & ran in front of us for about a minute & then ran off the other side of the road. My youngest yells "I told you there was something over there"! We still hear that we should have listened! I loved picking those huge blackberries! My kids, not so much. Their picking days were over after picking huckleberries for a month, they definitely did not want to pick more berries. I had my husband drop us off to pick & he went to a local drug store to get plastic bowls with lids for me to put the berries into. They were safe all the way home & we enjoyed blackberry jam for several months after that trip! Very fun times & alot of beautiful memories to pass on to the grands now.

I see them for sale frequently and the Legion sells them directly as well. Most who buy such a thing want them to mark the grave of an ancestor who was in the Legion.
