Fun fact: most reactors mistakenly think Geoff is Bruno... At this point in the movie, Bruno hadn't been seen. He is actually Cameleo - the shape changer. They improved the song by finishing it out instead of leaving it hanging like the movie.

There's a very good reason Voiceplay gets called the Theater Kids of a capella. This song is a good demonstration of how they got that name.

Ashley ordered 2 sets of the clothes to make sure one fit. The smaller one did and she talked Geoff into wearing the larger one for the chameleon character. Ashley Diane has been in Running Up That Hill (Kate Bush/Stranger Things), If I Were a Rich Man (Fiddler on the Roof), some minis/shorts - Surface Pressure (Encanto), Sherod Returns, Time Warp (Rocky Horror), Your Turn to Role (Critical Role), River, Como La Flor. She has a powerful and lovely voice.

Disney was so impressed by this cover that they asked VP to come and perform it live at one of their private events... somewhere on the internets there is a phone version of that one! They are so damn creative and fun (and the vocals are amazing of course!) They did another song as a mini or something - can't remember now. Thanks for the reaction!

This is why VoicePlay are known as the Theatre Kids of a capella. No one does covers like VoicePlay. Geoff's costume change is a nod to the shape shifting character. And a lot of fun. He does make a rather fetching Disney Princess at times :) I mostly watched the movies after seeing the VoicePlay medleys and so far I've found the original to be rather boring in comparioson :)Cesar and Ashley are both from Puerto Rico which isn't a million miles from Ciolmbia, and I think I read that Cesar's father is/was Colombian, so he knows the accent.

I might have been in the minority, but suggesting you watch the movie first paid off!! You caught more stuff in the performance than 90% of the reactors out there. Ashley is amazing. My other favorite with Ashley featured is If I Were A Rich Man / Girl. It's one of my favorite #Voiceplay releases. And, you'll get to hear Layne singing more. You'll love it! Enjoy!!

Im with you, my disney era ended after the classics like little mermaid, pocahontas, lion king, Aladdin, beauty and the beast etc came out. But i did watch moana, and i LOVE it. Really good. 😊💜💜

Nice reaction! Not surprised that they have 'Disney' voices - most (if not all of them) have worked at Disney/Universal theme parks, as they are based in Florida, I think that helped with the clarity they always sing with!

Really enjoying your reactions. The music was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, he also wrote the music for Moana and Hamilton . VP also has a video for "The Moana Medley" and "My Shot" from Hamilton was one of their earlier theatrical pieces.

Great reaction. VP is so fun. And without showing it they put lots of work behind each song. Ashley is great and does several songs with them. The movie was cute. My youngest granddaughter loved it so we watched it many times. I’m not a big fan of Disney although I use to be. Many visits to the parks. But they’ve done some monstrous things. However VP does magic with the songs. Maona has some things I’m not agreeable with but the movie glides over those things so you don’t realize what kids are absorbing (okay I have a problem with Disney) but the movie has cool songs and VP does an excellent job entertaining as always. Don’t mind me. I’ve just gone down some very ugly rabbit holes. Please check it out and watch VP do their thing. I love your reaction and how you pay attention to the details which can be so funny but excellent. Thanks for taking the chance on reacting to VP. Cesar is of my favorite singer/actor! He’s just got so much personality. Always makes me smile!

Can't have Lin-Manuel Miranda writing music for a movie without putting in at least one rap! I think we may have to be concerned about his well-being if he didn't include a rap! Same with Moana. I do strongly recommend watching Moana, the music really is fantastic.

Moana is actually a pretty good adventure story. I’m not a huge Disney fan myself - I hate sappy stuff and a lot of their stuff is just too sugary for me. Moana wasn’t that way. And the Rock’s character cracked me up.
