Watched these fireworks from our fifth floor balcony at our home resort Of Boardwalk villas, the view was fantastic and we could enjoy the fireworks knowing that because was a stones throw away! On NYE we watched illuminations AND fantasy in the sky- breathtaking .

The one thing that bugs the living shit out me is the parent, with NO concern for the people standing behind them, that hoists their little brat onto their shoulders. Said brat can see but those behind it can't. RUDE!!

***** Yeah, it's really frustrating after spending hours standing and waiting in the cold rain. Kids on a parent's shoulders, someone filming with an iPad or tablet and now the 'selfie stick' make it really hard sometimes. I never hold my camera higher than my head during any type of show or fireworks as a courtesy to the people standing behind me.

TheLuke843 Both my partner and I are 6'4" tall and when we look for a spot on the parade route, especially at a WDW parade, we try to be near a light pole that no one can see around anyway just because it's the polite thing to do.

What I don't understand is why parents put their kids on their shoulders in the first place? They're fireworks which take place in the air. I've gone to Disney every year since the age of 6 and even back then (at that age) when watching fireworks i did it standing on the ground. Never had my parents hoist me onto their shoulders. Could see just fine.
