This has nothing to do with elves or Tolkien, but I want vampires to be what they were prior: brutal monsters. They can keep the sensuality and all the other addendums to them, but terrible, blood-drinking nigh stalkers is what I wish they were in popular media. I was going to write my own meaning to them in the video but I thought that I should let them meaningless so each one of you can imagine your own story behind the words." As a person who knows neither English nor German, I only have to say in my own mother tongue that what BrunuhVille thought (you thought) came through. The person lies down on their bed or on the floor and imagines for the elf sentence a story created by their own emotions. I've always found it interesting how sometimes we set out with specific destination in mind for the final product, but our work ends up taking us down a different path, and we end up somewhere vastly different that we first expected--often for the better. I don't compose music, but I write fiction and once upon time even wrote poetry, and some of the best things I ever put to paper were those that led me astray from where I was first going and took me somewhere else by the end.
