I don't think people realize how HARD it is to do what she does SO WELL, the COMMITMENT it takes to do her style to not look trashy but immaculate and high quality. Her pastel hair alone is so hard to to, it's almost impossible to make the hair white enough, still keep it on your head and make the pink dye float from light to dark like this. Her antlers were high quality as well, tastefully arranged and her house looks like done by someone who makes movie sets. Put in the work yourself, excell at Something so well like she does before you chime in with your rude comments mr. Golden Jacket 😅

I agreed. I have seen her videos of her home and it is amazing, the colors are so cool and makes her house very fantasy like. For a business that works with selling bridal dresses, you have to have some imagination to find the right dress for your clients and be understanding and sympathetic to their likes without having to said rude comments about them behind their backs. If you got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. They are just there to sell dresses, not fantasy or imagination which is also part of the whole wedding theme.

Fashion isnt supposed to be about enforcing any given standard. It should be about expressing yourself. The hosts should have been complimentary to her unique style and fun personality. She is adorable.

I think they kind of did with what they had and considering that the bride didn't like the first dress that was in her style and they probably didn't have a lot to chose from considering she has a unique style not a large consumerbase would buy - which is what a bridal shop always has to keep in mind. If they'd made less critical comments about her style that would have been more clear though. And they definitly could have shown her another blush dress and maybe another more princessy one. But to create a bridal look for someone that wears more ballgowny dresses all the time, it isn't wrong to tone it down a bit to see how she feels about it and she seemed to like it. :)

For those of you who don’t know, this is Kelly Eden and she is a model and an artist. At the time this was filmed (almost a decade ago!) she was with Davey Suicide, a musician with a goth style. They’re still friends but are now with different people. If I remember correctly, Kelly said this was for fun/press, not seriously looking for a wedding dress.

Idk if she said it that way on purpose to discourage Kelly from getting a very fantasy styled gown. Or if she's just not great at communicating with her clients, but that was not a good way to make your client feel good. Especially with it being the 1st dress of the day.

The unicorn shit joke was kind of funny, but the rest was pretty degrading. It shouldn't matter what "offends" the consultant, because it's about what the bride wants. I LOVED the big pink dress she chose first. I feel like she decided she didn't like it because the consultants spent so much time insulting what she said she wanted. She was gorgeous in every dress, and out of the white ones, the one she picked was my favorite, but I wish her decision has been based on what she really wanted and not what they talked her into.

The woman consultant basically said the dress made her look fat. Which it DIDN'T. I could ^kinda^ see where she was coming from with how it is a VERY heavy dress, so it swallows Kelly, instead of showing her off. But it DID NOT make her "look heavier." Anyone tells a woman she looks bigger in something and most of us are going to start 2nd guessing that garment.

You are in business to create beauty and to make women feel good about themselves, and cutting people down isn’t the best way to achieve that. I love this episode! I also have incredibly long pink hair (I’m 24 and I’ve had it pink since I was 14), it’s kind of my signature. I love dresses, glitter, color.. I just got my dress two weeks ago, thought I would go for a white dress; like my family wanted but as soon as I walked in I found a lavender dress that stole my heart! White is just simply not me, I’m too colorful of a person. This girl is beautiful!! Her antlers are so cool!!

It's frustrating to see when an entourage (and in this case even the stylist) always tries to make alt people "normal" or "conservative" for their weddings, like there's something wrong with how we express ourselves. If a wedding is considered such a MILESTONE then why do we have to not be ourselves on such a MILESTONE day? I got married with my pink hair and everyone desperately wanted me to dye it brown for my wedding, despite me having had the same colour for almost ten years. Also, miss me with the stylist literally making fun of her - it's gross. She's amazing!

I can’t stand that woman service rep. I’ve watched this quite some time ago, and both of them were very unprofessional to Kelly and really made her feel bad about herself, and the dress she she loved. They should both have been fired or severely reprimanded. Kelly is a very sweet and magical person.
