Thank God! I was worried my 350 page prologue would come off as a little much or self indulgent but now I feel confident again! My readers need to know how 4268 years before the main story takes place, this minor event happened that won't come into play for another 3 main book entries and 5 standalones! How else will they come to appreciate my genius!?

Some people come up with an elaborate fantasy world, and then use that to help inspire the storyline... but you don't have to do that! --> If you just free-write a fun romp through the countryside, literally no one will notice if you just stick mountains and rivers wherever works on the map... Trekking through the snowy north one week, then standing on a sandy beach the next? Must be a small world, no worries friend!
