I belong to Asafo #2 company. We were white. Saw my grandfather wear his white Asafo dress n my uncle was the chief drummer (Okyr3ma) in Shama. My favorite song is “Y’agya Adu”. Greetings to u all from USA.

That’s Anaafo Asafo Company nicknamed “The Asafo University.” True, white is part of their colors but the dominant is blue. “Y’egya Edu eei, Amanfo Edu eiii…kurow yi oo, ayee!!!” Thanks for your comment. Kindly subscribe.

Does this dance have a meaning?
@oaksjoint11 ай бұрын
Yes it has several meanings. All depends on who’s dancing and the kind of information s/he wishes to put across. It’s Asafo dance mostly danced by “Frankaa hutafo” (Asafo flag bearers/dancers).
