In the AForce vs YA match you didn't want to use CM ult. It dropped SG below 50% and Kate put the slow on JJ and that's why she didn't go before doom. I always just basic or occasionally special to remove debuffs.

One thing Ive been doing with Secret Avengers/Shang Chi in crucible is putting in Colleen Wing and saving Kestrel for hybrid team attacks. They destroy teams like Ax Men, Colleen can kill beast early, but saving Kestrel really spreads my attack options. Im am only fighting 20mil TCP though not like MBoomers league.

I'm 14.4 mil CP and my first opponent is 19.5 mil. I'm by far the lowest CP in the group. I lost but I ended up fully clearing his thundering god head (compared to me) so I'm pleased. I need to lose a crucible so I can get back to my weight class.

Ehh yes & no, MG just targets whoever. Had he gone for Okoye or Mbaku or Shuri he wouldnt have spent so much time, same with the other teams he can play better if he knew which toons to get rid of first to make the teams less effective

Not to mention the amount they must spend on cores, they have new characters to 7 yellow stars immediately from coring the orbs. That is a tonne of money on its own.
