What kind of on-board I/O does the CRX have. I am familiar with the UR and how straight forward it is.

The CRX comes with a standard fanuc R30iB cabinet, it may or may not come with any IOs. It all depends on the extras you buy.

Yeah, in my opinion I also don't like the CRX, the android up just freezes and sometimes it cannot make some simple movements.

@@rebots I integrate strictly collaborative robots in the US. I've used UR, Kassow, TechMan, Fanuc. The fanuc is BY FAR the worst when it comes to ease of use and deployment. I'll sell you the one I have. Been sitting on the shelf for 8 months.
