She sounds and looks beautiful. I’m so happy she’s getting this opportunity for exposure to become a huge store in China, one of the world’s largest musical markets. I’m not fond of the song itself, I find it kind of boring and the melody doesn’t go anywhere for me. Just kind of monotone. However, she sings a beautifully with her crystal clear voice. I am not a fan of the mix toward the end of the song, where her voice gets lost behind the sounds of the movie and the sounds of the instrumentals and the choir, just a little too much for me . If you think of the power ballads that were used for soundtracks when soundtracks were a thing in the 90s, that would’ve never happened to Céline Dion, LeAnn Rimes, Trisha Yearwood, Whitney Houston, etc. Their voice is remained front and center. The clips of the movie were usually enough, and if you wanted to use the sounds of the movie, you would do that in the right places in a way that wouldn’t overshadow the singing . Just my two cents.

It’s interesting, because the “choir” at the end is just the backing track of Zhou Shen the singer of the original Chinese version. It works for his version because he’s dueting with his own track. You really can hear that her mix is quite a bit softer in the fan mashup of the two versions of the song. She’s barely heard under Zhou Shen’s soaring vocals, though it does feel like they’d be a great duet.

واو الأغنية حقا رائعة تحسها تغني عن فيلم اسطوري مع اغنية اسطورية ، الموسيقى واللحن راااائع كلش شيء صراحة صوت فوزية جميل جدا فقط يجب ان تجد من يساعدها حقا، اجد العديد من الفنانين مشهورين للغاية لكن صوتهم ليس بالشيء الجميل، فصوتهم عادي لكن بنسبة لفوزية صوتها رائع اضن انها يجب تغير ادارة اعمالها او مساعيديها ان تبحث عن مساعيدين افضل ، وبعد ذلك ستصل الى النجومية وسيشرق اسمها في السماء

An interview with the director said they’d finished the song really late and it was a coincidence of him being in Vienna at the same time as Zhou Shen that they were able to get the recording done in time. And since they knew they were going to get Zhou Shen, they tailored the background symphony to his voice. So it seems the English version might’ve been written pretty quickly, and it’s using the instrumentation tailored to Zhou Shen’s key, so there might’ve been a few factors working against Fouzia’s favor.

The Chinese version is way better than this one and it sung by Zhou Shen. I don’t understand both versions are with the same melody but the interpretation are way too different. Why when it change to English, sounds so different? In this English version is so flat and I don’t feel any emotion in it. I know she can sing better than this but why she chose to sang like this!
