This cover barely scratches the surface of her vocal capabilities. I would definitely recommend watching her original song Tears of Gold next (the stripped version). From this competition, RIP Love is the #1 must-see, but her covers of Crazy, Desert Rose, and The Devil from Heaven are also worth a watch. The DFH is a cover of a Chinese song, and it got a lot of attention because her pronunciation was apparently so good. She speaks English, Arabic, and French, but she had to learn the Mandarin songs by ear. She's an incredible vocalist and songwriter. One of Gen Z's best, without question.

Loved your reaction, especially the smile when she slide down the keys... You are correct, she can certainly sing, but her ability to emote is fantastic too! There's 12 weeks to the show, and then of course all of her own originals along with other covers she has done. You won't be disappointed in anything that you choose. If you stick with the show's songs to start, it's a great place to get to know her, and when you get to her originals you can go with the stripped versions, where it's her and a piano or guitar, and you really hear her voices power! Enjoy!!

Faouzia is morroccan canadien songwriter singer piano player she use quarter tone that only in oriental arabic music exist plus she has an insane vibrato and vocal range. Great reaction! I'm glad you reacted to her, you have no idea how talented she is. Her voice control, power and range are beyond incredible, she's literally one of the best vocalists of our generation, so underrated. Btw you'll hear more of the runs you mentioned since it's part of her Moroccan/Arabic heritage. FAOUZIA is one of those who just got it just born with it her talent is unbelievable she can go with high notes and can sing in law register easly she"s an amazing singer a painist and she can play violent, guitar and many other musical instruments plus she writes her own songs her live performances are way better than the studio version please check her performance in singer 2024 desert rose and crazy + fur elise live version ( i am very happy now cuz i am an alphaz + huge faouzia fan + moroccan and fan of u too 😅

Her best performance from this show is "Desert Rose", imo. Another one that is awesome from this show was "Crazy" (Gnarls Barkley cover). Her cover of Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain" was a little off for some reason (there was a video released of her doing it in rehearsal that was *way* better).

If this competition had been left to the contestants to judge themselves, Faouzia would have won without a care in the world, because it's clear that she exerts a fascination on the others; when Faouzia isn't singing, the other contestants are much less attentive.

With one exception all the songs from the show are covers. You should react to one of her originals in the stripped version. The vocal runs are by the way a bit her signature sound.

She's good on the show but for me personally her best work are not shown fully on the show. Her stripped versions showcace her vocals perfectly. Exothermic, tears of gold stripped, bad dreams, elon and i know. Some of my favourite of her.
