So many different things she can do, from the yodels in her voice, it’s her fantastic mix and belting technique, to her breathy voice, to her great staccato technique, to her arabic melisma, I’m sure there’s a lot I’m not even remembering.

Faouzia is a Moroccan-Canadian born 5 July 2000 ​she is a singer-songwriter and musician who plays several instruments she started playing piano at age 6 .She speaks fluent English, French, and Arabic. Coach, she uses a lot of fast vibrato as part of her middle-east culture. She said, “There’s an Arabic tinge to the pop music I write that naturally comes out of growing up on a blend of genres,”. She explained “The message is the main ingredient; then I like to have catchy pop melodies with a flare of Arabic vocals or other musical elements. She experienced Arabic artists such as Umm Kulthum and Fairuz alongside her parents in addition to obsessing over Beyoncé, Rihanna, Sia, Adele, Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy, and Ariana Grande. No wonder her sound is so eccentric and flavorsome, Faouzia’s talents don’t stop at music, she also enrolled in the University of Manitoba, majoring in computer engineering.

Faouzia is a 20yo Moroccan 🇲🇦 , living in Canada She never took any vocal lesson she writes her songs by herself she's a multi-instrumentalist (violin, guitare and piano ) she speaks 3 languages fluently (english, arabic and french) and she still following her engineer studies She did a song (BATTLE) with David guetta on his ICONIC album 7 when she was 17 She made a song with a famous french rapper called Ninho for his album, the song (MONEY) went platinium She sang ( I FLY) featuring Galantis for the film SCOOB She also sang with Kelly Clarkson the arab version of (I DARE YOU) She made a song (MINEFIELDS) with the one and only JOHN LEGEND She also droped out an EP of all her stripped songs .. it's amazingly wonderful and mind-blowing.

Happy New Year! I am so glad you have discovered Faouzia, I first heard her last year when she did a collab with Kelly Clarkson (I Dare You). The most amazing g thing is apparently she never took singling lessons, this is her pure raw talent honed by years of hard work and practice. You need to check out her EP concert which are all of her own songs, stripped. She also did a collab with John Legend called Minefields, so there are a lot of future video ideas for you to choose from! 😉

Ohh, I love her! Thank you for checking her out. I love her Song "Bad Dreams" as well, she wrote it when she was 14. By the way, could you maybe check out Sohyang again since it's been a long time? Either one of her insane Immortal Song stages like 'Everyone' or her stages of 2020 from begin again korea or her concerts. She was so active last year. :) Try "Love Poem" or "I will always love you" at the Life Concert 2020. :)

Not sure why she’s not more famous, but i guess that can be said of several artists that are fantastic like Dimash, Lara Fabian etc. I’m originally from Belgium so I can roll my R’s 😉. I love the fact that you appreciate her different sounding voice, the Moroccan influence in her singing , a lot of reactors don’t know what to make of it. Tears of gold is one of my favorite songs , any of her songs are good as long as it’s the stripped version.

Faouzia melts my mind and heat and soul every time I hear her. She is 20 years old. speaks 4 different languages, is self taught with no singing lessons, writes her own song, lyrics and music, and she goes to school full time to get an engineering degree. She is the epitome of an srtist, she plays violin, guitar and piano, she has such a silky smooth lower register, a weak in the knees fast vibrato. I personally think she is one of the 2 or 3 best female singers going today with nothing but success in her future. She just released a duet with John Legend called minefields with heavenly harmonies. My favorite song by her is Tears of Gold (stripped version) kzbin.info/www/bejne/nauUq5xtpLqnlbs , all of her stripped versions are significantly better than any official music videos cause they really show off her voice and talent much more than the studio versions in my opnion. Other great songs to check out by Faouzia- Bad Dreams, Elon, Exothermic, 100 band aids, born without a heart, how it all works out. She also did an entire stripped down concert you can find on her official youtube page which amazing too

Hi Christi, Faouzia is my favorite singer right now. Just a little background on this amazing singer, Faouzia is self taught, she has never had a singing lesson. She plays piano, guitar and violin. Morocco has nothing to do with the Middle East she has the maghrebine tone. Morocco is situated on the northern west of Africa in a place called the Maghreb and it’s musical culture is very different from the one of the Middle East
